5 Ways To Be A Happier Person
Actually, there is no trick to happiness. However, such individuals can live lives where they see the glass as half full thanks to certain habits and thought patterns. And what’s this? You may radically change your mentality and behavior to live a positive life!

In the midst of a demanding life, happiness can occasionally be difficult to come by. When your bills are piling up, gas prices are skyrocketing, and the market is tanking, it may seem difficult to be joyful. We know that happiness predicts health and longevity. Happiness, on the other hand, isn’t something that just happens to you. Everyone has the ability to make tiny changes in their behavior, environment, and relationships that can lead to a happy life.
I’d want to share what I’ve discovered with you. Here are five ways you can use to make yourself happy.
1. Say one thing you’re grateful for each night before dinner. (If you pray, this can also be included in your prayers.)
2. This week, write a thank-you note to someone. If you can’t think of anything else to thank someone for, simply write them a note to express your gratitude for their presence in your life. Because they might spend that time with someone else, any time they spend with you is a gift. This morning my wife left me a note on the kitchen island. It said “have a great day. It is going to be hot out there. I put your white shirt out for you to stay cool. I love you to the moon and back.” Its the little things in life that count.
3. Take a deep breath for 30 seconds. Breathing is the simplest method to create time for yourself and be grateful for your own existence. Close your eyes for a moment. Breathe in for three counts through your nose and out for five counts through your mouth. Do this 5 times.
4. Take a two-minute break and do nothing. What do you think happens? Nothing! Your job was not lost. Your family hasn’t abandoned you. You aren’t a loser. Nobody was judging you. Actually, the only thing that happened was that you understood that you can take time for yourself and enjoy your own company without having to consume anything (eating, watching TV, etc). Sometimes going the bathroom when you don’t have to so you can have two minutes to yourself works. Haha… I do this all the time.
5. Make a phone call to a friend or family member you haven’t spoken to in a while. We thrive on being in close proximity to one another. Having a big network of Facebook friends and Twitter followers is amazing, but it lacks the meaning of close relationship. Make contact with someone who means a lot to you. You can talk about anything you want. You are not required to say anything cheesy or awkward. Simply enjoy the chat and be appreciative for the person you’re speaking with. Better yet, use Facetime so you can see them and talk to them.
Start today with these five ways for a better life! You can start with one and work your way up to all of them at once. Stop whining, surround yourself with pleasant people, be appreciative, spend less time on social media, and look forward to something. The impact these things have on your happiness will astound you.
